We have a joint Local Alcohol Policy with New Plymouth District Council and it’s up for review.

While it’s a joint policy, it also targets local issues on how alcohol is supplied in each district.

The policy aims to create an environment that minimises alcohol related harm in our community. It outlines the requirements for alcohol licensing applications, including locations, trading hours, special licenses, and other conditions related to on-license, off-license and club-licenses.

It’s important we hear from our community to inform any changes to the existing policy.

A copy of the current policy can be found on the following link: New Plymouth District Council and Stratford District Council Local Alcohol Policy
