Project into it's final stages

Construction of our new grit tank is being undertaken in three stages and we're now in the final stage!

We've hit the following progress milestones:

  • Service trench works connecting the Grit Tank to the water treatment plant.
  • Installation of the pipeline connecting the pump station to the Grit Tank.
  • Procurement of key mechanical components, including pumps, valves, and spindles - with some of this equipment being supplied from Germany.

In April we had some poor weather to respond to, and the team implemented erosion and sediment control measures to mitigate flooding risks, alongside undertaking ground preparation works to maintain safe and reliable site access.
